A large free grass site adjacent to the Kushiro Marsh
Tsuru no Sato Camp Field is a free auto campground with an area of 35,000 square meters, roughly the size of five soccer fields, making it one of the largest in Hokkaido.
Check-in is early at 9:00 and check-out is late at 14:00, allowing you to relax and unwind.
Wi-Fi is available, so it is also recommended for workation.
We also offer empty-handed camping plans and can rent the facility exclusively for events.
Tsuru no Sato Camp Field was formerly a sod field owned by a sod farmer in Tsurui Village who had been in business for 40 years.
The grass variety is Kentucky bluegrass, which is also used on golf courses.
Enjoy the soft grass.
The northern side of the camp field is adjacent to Kushiro Marshlands National Park, allowing visitors to enjoy the rich natural environment.
Various wild birds fly in, and at night you can hear the sounds of owls and see red-crowned cranes flying and walking around.
We are open during the winter season so you can enjoy winter camping.
There are two kitchens. The toilets are Western-style and have automatic water supply and simple flushing.
Firewood, Tsurui charcoal, and other items are available for rental and sale in the management building.
The nearest convenience store is a 5-minute drive away, and Tsurui Onsen and the coin laundries are located in downtown Tsurui, a 10-minute drive away.
It is also recommended as a base for sightseeing in Tsurui Village, Kushiro Marsh National Park, and Akan Mashu National Park.
Although the space is large enough to accommodate over 350 tents, we limit the number of tents to around 50 to ensure you can relax comfortably.
Pets are allowed on the premises, and play equipment for children is available for hire.

この度は、鶴の里キャンプフィールドの宿泊小屋建設プロジェクトに対し、温かいご支援と数多くの応援メッセージをいただき、誠にありがとうございました。
5月7日をもちましてクラウドファンディングの挑戦が終了いたしました。結果として目標金額には届きませんでしたが、最終的に40％近い達成率となり、多くの方々が私たちの想いに共感し、背中を押してくださったことに心より感謝申し上げます。
「どんな形であっても、年内に宿泊ハウスを用意します」
今回の挑戦を通じて、皆様からいただいた「冬の湿原を暖かく楽しみたい」「手ぶらで気軽に訪れたい」という期待の声を改めて実感しました。目標金額に満たなかったからといって、この夢を諦めることはありません。
資金計画や規模を再検討し、私たちの今できる最高の形で、年内には皆様に泊まっていただける「宿泊ハウス」を必ず完成させます。
釧路湿原の厳しい冬。その中で焚火やストーブの火を眺めながら過ごす、特別な時間。 そんな体験を一日も早く皆様にお届けできるよう、私たちは歩みを止めずに準備を進めてまいります。
